Statement of expertise for the sub-committee: Dr Pratyush Gupta is currently working as Associate Professor& Consultant, Department of Anaesthesia & Intensive Care, Apollo Hospital, New Delhi, India. Previously, he has worked at some of India’s finest medical institutes (All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Army Hospital-R&R), as well as worked in United Kingdom and Canada. His expertise includes obstetric anaesthesia (labour epidurals), transplant anaesthesia (Liver, kidney) and difficult airways (Fiberoptics, supraglottic airway adjuncts). Besides his clinical commitments, Dr Gupta takes keen interest in the field of Occupational health and has several international publications/surveys and presentations to his credit.
