He has been a consultant for 12 years, and in that time has been depratmental and divisional lead. He is widely published in the fileds of onco-anaesthesia and onco-ICM

Biography: Tim Wigmore is a consultant in anaesthesia and intensive care medicine and currently Associate Medical Director at the Royal Marsden Hospital, a tertiary oncology referral centre (the largest in Europe) in London, UK. He spent his undergraduate years at Cambridge and Oxford before commencing Anaesthesia training on the Imperial Rotation. His interest in ICM was stimulated by the Australian axis at St Marys and he subsequently spent 3 years in Sydney, gaining fellowship of the Australian College of Intensive Care before returning to the UK. His anesthesiology research interests are and on the effects of intravenous anaesthesia on the long term outcome of cancer patients. He is chair of the 4th global conference in onco-anaesthesia and peri-operative care of the cancer patient, taking place in London in Nov 2016. (www.canceranaesthesia2016.com)
