Biography: Martin Culwick is a Fellow of the Australia and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (ANZCA) and practises anaesthesia as a Senior Specialist at the Royal Brisbane and Womens hospital. He is Medical Director of the Australian and New Zealand Tripartite Anaesthetic Data Committee (ANZTADC) and set up the webAIRS reporting system for critical incidents in anaesthesia, which has been collecting data since 2009. He is a member of the Queensland Perioperative and Periprocedural Anaesthetic Mortality Review Committee and a member of the ANZCA Safety and Quality Committee. He has a longstanding interest in both anaesthesia and information systems and completed a Masters of Information Technology degree at Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane in 2007.
