Biography: After completing my schooling I joined medical college for my basic medical training in the year 1986. On completion of the training in 1992, I worked in mission hospitals till 1995. Thereafter I joined for my post-graduate training in Christian Medical College Vellore in 1996. I completed my diploma in anaesthesiology in 1998 and MD in anaesthesiology in 2001. I joined the department of anaesthesia in CMC Vellore in 2001 as a consultant. I had the opportunity to work in Royal Childrens Hospital, Melbourne in 2009 and worked in Alice Springs Hospital (Australia) from January 2010 to December 2011. My areas of interest include paediatric anaesthesia, regional anaesthesia, difficult airway, peri-operative medicine and post graduate training. I am presently involved in the teaching of postgraduates and technical staff and administration of the department as the head.
