Connection with WFSA (if any): She was granted the Post Fellowship Diploma of the World Federation of Societies of Anaesthesiologists (WFSA) In 2011 after spending 6 months in the Department of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care at Wolfson Medical Centre, Holon, Israel.

Award / titles received: She holds The Fellowship of the West African College of Surgeons, Faculty of Anaesthesia 

Statement of expertise for the sub-committee: Since meeting the Lifebox team at the 2012 World Congress of Anaesthesiologists in Argentina, she has been involved in several Lifebox trainings in Nigeria. Her Lifebox needs assessment led to the publication of ‘Rapid Need Assessment Survey of Anaesthesia and Surgical Services in District Public Hospitals in Cross River State, Nigeria. British Journal of Medical Practitioners. Dec. 2014 Vol. 7 issue 4: 6-14’.

Biography: Dr. Queeneth Ndukwe Kalu is a Consultant Anaesthesiologist and immediate past Director Clinical Services and Training, University of Calabar Teaching Hospital, Calabar, Nigeria. She is currently the Vice President of the Nigerian Society of Anaesthetists and Chair, Organising Committee of the forth coming 6th All Africa Anaesthesia Congress. She has special interest in Obstetric anaesthesia, pain management and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation as well as public health particularly as it relates to women.
