Biography: Changhong Miao, male, born in Jan. 1966, was admitted to Shanghai Medical School as a graduate student in 1995. He received his doctors degree in anesthesiology in 1998 and his mentor was the famous clinical anesthesiologist Professor Hao Jiang. Dr. Miao was employed as supervisor for master degree candidates, associate professor in the anesthesiology department of Fudan University Shanghai Medical School, and appointed as vice director of the anesthesiology department in Zhongshan Hospital from 2002. Dr. Miao visited Massachusetts General Hospital affiliated to the Medical College of Harvard University and Barnes-Jewish Hospital affiliated to the Medical College of Washington University( in Saint Louis), the United States in 2003 as a visiting scholar. He learned the anesthesia for cardiothoracic surgery, liver and lung transplantation and major vascular operation there. Dr. Miao was employed as chief physician, professor in the department of anesthesiology in 2005, and supervisor for doctoral degree candidates in 2006. In March 2012, Dr. Miao was admitted into Fudan University Shanghai Cancer Center through talents introduction.
