Biography: Ms. Priscilla Siu Yan-yan started practicing Occupational Therapy in 1992 after graduated from Hong Kong Polytechnic University. She further achieved her Master degree in Occupational Therapy in 2003 from the same University andMSc in Sport Medicine and Health Science in 2009 from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Her Master thesis was on the application of a Chinese Mind-body Exercise, the Health Qigong, for the community living middle-aged female with chronic non-specific low back pain. Besides providing clinical services, she is one of the few occupational therapists in Hong Kong qualified for coaching the “Four Standardardized Forms of Health Qigong” and granted to be the 3rd Duan instructor by the Chinese Health Qigong Association in Beijing. Furthermore, she is the convener of the special interest group (Health Qigong) cum National traditional sports research group under Hong Kong Occupational Therapy Association. She is active in serving the community by being a voluntary coach of Health Qigong and organized related services in NGO agents to community dwellers with chronic diseases. From 2014 onwards, she has been invited by Development Bureau and HKCIC in HKSAR to apply Health Qigong to promote health to construction sites workers.
