Biography: Dr. CHEE is currently Consultant and Honorary Clinical Associate Professor at Queen Mary Hospital, University of Hong Kong. Her areas of interest include perioperative TEE, transfusion medicine and innovative healthcare. She is a major advocate for anesthetist-led perioperative TEE and has been invited to speak on the subject at many international meetings held in Asia. She is now sitting on the echo steering committee of HKCA working with a group of local experts in developing structured training and credential programs in echocardiography for the anesthesia community in Hong Kong. In addition, Dr. Chee has been appointed Co-Chair to the Perioperative Clinical Service Work Group at the Hong Kong West Cluster (HKWC) since 2012. Over the last 4 years, she has been working towards the establishment of PROMPT in Anesthesia as well as engaging surgical counterparts in adopting the ERAS Program. Her latest endeavor is to collaborate with hematologists in establishing Patient Blood Management Program at the HKWC.
